2-4pm: 2014 International Session: A Review of the Current Infectious Agent Registration Process in Boston, Rhode Island, Canada and the UK
In order to address the timely topic of potential US infectious agent registration, this year’s International Session will be in a round table format that includes various national and international experts presenting on the infectious agent registration process applicable to their country or city/state. The various topics they will discuss include the types of organisms that are covered, the nature of the oversight group, the registration process and requirements, inspection process, laboratory vs. agent registration, among others. There will be a Q & A session following the presentations. If you are wondering what a national registration process might look like, this session will provide insight into what is already happening both in the US and abroad.
