Carrie McNeil, DVM
As a principle member of the technical staff in the International Biological and Chemical Threat Reduction Group at Sandia National Laboratories, McNeil is the technical lead for BioChem Readiness activities including tabletop exercise and planning workshop design. As a veterinary epidemiologist, McNeil contributes to One Health and outbreak response projects internationally. Prior to coming to Sandia, she was an EIS Officer with USCDC and an emergency response planner with the Office of Safety Health and Environment at CDC. She completed her Global Environmental Health MPH at Rollins School of Public Health at Emory in 2012; her veterinary degree at UCDavis in 2004. McNeil has completed the HSEPP program, DHS Planners course, numerous FEMA trainings and is enrolled in the Master Exercise Practitioner Program. McNeil and Noel are co-developers of PREP.
